Yasuhiro Onimoto

Yasuhiro Onimoto has extensive experience in the technology and travel industries, currently serving as Executive Officer and General Manager at Rakuten since August 2004, overseeing both the Application and Infrastructure groups. Yasuhiro has played key roles, including Senior Manager and Group Manager, and previously worked as an Application Engineer focusing on domestic hotel services and as an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in database administration and server management, notably building one of the largest Oracle RAC systems in Japan. Presently, Yasuhiro holds the position of Director at World Travel System and Chief Technology Officer at Rakuten Travel Xchange, while also having served as an Application Engineer at Mytrip.net from February 2001 to July 2004. Yasuhiro holds a bachelor's degree in Management Engineering from Kinki University.
