Carolyn Merriweather Colquitt

Musical Director at Raleigh Little Theatre

Carolyn Merriweather Colquitt is an accomplished musical director, educator, and independent music professional with extensive experience in various roles within music education and theater. Currently serving as the Musical Director for Li V Mahob Theatre Company and Raleigh Little Theatre, Carolyn also teaches at WCPSS, where responsibilities include serving as a Music Educator at Hunter Elementary and developing the Piano Lab at Dillard Drive Middle. Carolyn's contributions to JUSTICE THEATRE include music direction for productions such as "Black Nativity" and "Ragtime." As a former Artist in Residence at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Carolyn composed a musical interpretation for a key exhibit. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Music Education and Performance from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Music Education from Valparaiso University.
