Rich Cannon

Rich Cannon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rich is currently the CEO of Rali, a change platform for company growth initiatives. Prior to this, they worked at Pyramid Consulting, Inc as the Sr. Director of Channel Sales, leading the company's transformation to indirect channel sales.

Before that, Rich had a long tenure at Microsoft, where they held various senior director roles. Rich directed offer development, partner enablement, and sales & marketing execution through global managed service providers and systems integrators. Rich also led the development and launch of offers through global managed services, hosting, and telecom partners. Additionally, they managed a team of Market Development Managers and played a key role in growing the underlying hosting business revenue at Microsoft.

Earlier in their career, Rich served as an AVP at Web.com, where they implemented market strategies and product initiatives to significantly grow revenue. Rich also co-founded and served as CEO of Cignant, a venture focused on providing ecommerce software to gift & home manufacturers and retailers. Prior to that, they were the CEO of impressa, where they built channel sales opportunities and oversaw overall product direction.

Rich's career started at Renaissance Interactive, a web consultancy business that they co-founded. Rich played a pivotal role in growing the company from three founders to 150 employees, working with clients in industries such as retail, financial services, and healthcare. Rich began their career at NCR as a Senior Application Developer, where they served as a lead developer and contributed to internet technologies.

Rich Cannon completed their high school education at Irmo High School from 1984 to 1988. Rich then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at Duke University from 1988 to 1992. During their time at Duke, they studied Psychology and Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Rich Cannon has obtained certifications as a Discovery Insights Practitioner from Insight Discovery (UK) Limited in January 2014 and as a Wellspring Group Facilitator from Wellspring Group in December 2011.
