LaToya Washington has a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working at Rally as an Operations Manager and Operations Specialist. In 2019, they worked at Open House Co., Ltd. as an Administrative Assistant, where they were in charge of various inter-departmental tasks and acted as the IT administrator for the local office. LaToya also worked to draft Property Management Agreements for Japanese investors, acquire post-closing documents and HOA information, and change property ownership portfolios in Propertyware post purchase. Additionally, they created an automated Google Sheets based audit system to catch and eliminate errors in the portfolio ownership change process. In 2018, they worked as an Office Assistant at Handy Ace Hardware and was self-employed as a Japanese to English Translator and Digital Artist.
LaToya Washington attended the University of Houston from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Art Studies, General. LaToya then attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2016 to 2017, where they studied Sequential Art and Illustration. LaToya has also obtained two Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certifications from The Japan Foundation, with the N2 certification obtained in January 2018 and the N1 certification obtained in January 2022.
