Norton Schwartz

General (Ret) Norton Schwartz retired in October 2012 after most recently serving for four years as the 22nd Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the most senior ranking member of the US Air Force. During his 39 years on active duty, his other notable assignments include serving as commander of US TRANSCOM and commander of Special Operations Command – Pacific. General Schwartz graduated from the US Air Force Academy, and received his MBA from Central Michigan University.
