Tom Thompson

Tom Thompson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Tom started their career as a Climate Data Programmer at Space Dynamics Laboratory from October 1993 to June 1995. During this time, they successfully managed a climate prediction project and developed means for validating project results.

Tom then joined Ram Company in 1995 as a Project Engineer, where they specialized in designing linear and rotary solenoids for military and commercial aerospace. Tom also designed pneumatic and hydraulic valves and performed analysis and testing on new designs until 1999.

Continuing their career at Ram Company, Tom held various leadership positions. Tom served as the Chief Engineer from June 1999 to April 2015, where they reviewed and evaluated new design proposals, managed the engineering and prototype departments, coordinated design efforts with internal departments, and oversaw design reviews and development of new designs.

From April 2015 to May 2020, Tom held the role of Vice President of Engineering at Ram Company. Finally, in May 2020, they were appointed as the Director Of Engineering, a position they currently hold at RAM Company.

Tom Thompson completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Utah State University from 1991 to 1995.
