Dr Stephen Williams

Dr. Stephen Williams is a highly experienced geotechnical and construction-materials consultant, currently serving as a Director at Ramboll since July 2019, where leadership encompasses various projects in the UK and Saudi Arabia, along with roles as an Expert Witness and forensic investigator. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director of Ground Engineering at AECOM, where responsibilities involved risk management and technical guidance, and as a Technical Director at Mott MacDonald and Hyder Consulting, overseeing substantial projects in multiple sectors. A solid foundation was built through earlier positions such as Geotechnical Manager at Taywood Engineering/GHD, Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Jacobs, and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Sir Owen Williams and Partners. Dr. Williams holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of South Wales.
