Yesica Alvarez

Yesica Alvarez is a Managing Consultant at Ramboll, specializing in ESG/Sustainability and Air Quality and Health since August 2011. In the ESG/Sustainability role, Yesica assists various industry and government clients in evaluating energy and carbon footprints and decarbonizing operations, while also collaborating with novel renewable fuel developers to assess lifecycle emissions under different regulatory frameworks. As the technical lead for environmental projects, Yesica manages Air Quality and GHG initiatives, contributing to clients' environmental and climate goals. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant and Research Assistant at Penn State University, focusing on molecular modeling for coal conversion to liquid fuels. Yesica holds a Master of Science in Energy and Mineral Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
