Tammy Young has extensive experience in the health and wellness field. Tammy has worked as a Senior Wellness Coach and Team Lead at Ramp Health since 2022, where they engage corporate employees in health promotion activities and provides health education and coaching. Prior to that, they worked as a Precision Nutrition I Coach at Precision Nutrition starting in 2021. In 2017, they worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Fox Subacute Management Inc, where they delivered therapeutic interventions to improve patients' health after diagnosis or injury. Tammy also has experience as a Certified Health Coach at ACE and as a Certified Health, Wellness, Fitness, and Nutrition Coach at 360 Health Coaching. Tammy has worked as a Wellness Coach at Wellness Coaches from 2019 to 2022, and as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at HCR ManorCare from 2017 to 2019. Tammy Young has a diverse education history. Tammy obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree in Occupational Therapy from Penn State University in 2010-2013. In 1987-1988, they earned a Certificate in Computer Operations from the Computer Learning Network. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Williamsport Area High School from 1983-1987, where they received a Diploma in Academic studies. Tammy also holds multiple certifications, including a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) in 2014 and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in 2006. Additionally, they are a Nutrition Coach certified by Precision Nutrition in 2021 and a Certified Health Coach with Specialty Certifications accredited by the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in 2011. In the future, they plan to obtain certifications as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and an OSHA 10-Hour certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute, both in 2023.
