In 2001, Rupa enrolled at Padmasri Dr.B.V.Raju Institute of Technology and obtained a B.tech degree in the field of study of ECE in 2005. Following this, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in HR from Doctor B.R. Ambedkar Open University from 2006 to 2009.

Lastly, Rupa completed their education with a PHD degree in Management from Osmania University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2010.
