Jill McCurdy

Jill is a Partner and experienced advocate specialising in Child Care Law and a range of cases in the Court of Protection.

She is a longstanding member of the Law Society’s panel of accredited Children Law specialists and regularly represents children, children’s guardians, foster parents, parents and other family members in a range of family cases, including Care Proceedings, Special Guardianship Applications, Adoptions and complex contact/residence disputes.

Jill also has a particular interest in representing clients in Health and Welfare cases in the Court of Protection, including best interests decisions and challenges to Deprivation of Liberty. She is also a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (‘CoPPA’) for Yorkshire & The Humber.
