Paul Booth is a Solicitor and Partner in the Employment and Litigation team.

He has over 30 years’ experience as a Solicitor and specialises in complex commercial disputes, particularly in the construction and engineering, intellectual property, and company and commercial fields. He regularly deals with claims against professionals relating to those areas.

Most of his court work is in the specialist parts of the High Court, and regularly involves injunctions (including obtaining and defending search orders or freezing orders). His work is not confined to England and Wales, and he frequently deals with cases which involve foreign courts, especially Germany.

Paul also regularly acts in defamation cases, either for claimant or defendant.

Paul has unrivalled experience of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, early neutral evaluation, arbitration and, construction and engineering adjudications.

In employment cases, the focus of Paul’s work is claims involving directors and senior executives, especially those which involve restrictive covenants and confidential information, and discrimination cases.

Paul speaks reasonable French and German.

Outside work, Paul is a school Governor.

Paul is recommended in The Legal 500, 2021.
