What will you do in RamSoft?
- Lead the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage the response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Oversee the monitoring of network and system activity for signs of potential threats or intrusions.
- Utilize various tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM systems) to identify, analyse, and respond to security alerts.
- Conduct forensic analysis to understand the impact and cause of security incidents.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities, ensuring that they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the security operations center (SOC).
- Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring tools.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Coordinate with other IT and business teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive security practices.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices and threat awareness.
- Develop, review, and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2 type 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Proficiency in security technologies and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to across the organization.
- Collaborate with external partners and organizations to stay updated on emerging threats and best practices.
- Utilize Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) platforms such as Blackkite, Security Scorecard, and Falconfeeds.io to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Prepare and present reports on the security posture, incidents, and remediation efforts to senior management.
Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in information security.
What will you bring RamSoft?
- Experience with security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and principles (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Familiarity with security protocols and technologies (e.g., SSL/TLS,encryption, authentication).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) .

You will really stand out if you have following of these:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Secure Software Programmer (GSSP) are preferred.
