Deeksha Shukla

Deeksha Shukla began their work experience as an intern in various internships for 13 months from May 2008 to July 2012. Deeksha then worked as an Associate at Jurisperitus Law Offices from October 2012 to September 2013. Following that, they worked as a Senior Analyst at PwC from September 2013 to September 2014, where they conducted policy and compliance reviews and assisted in setting up compliance frameworks. Deeksha then served as an Assistant Manager in Internal Controls at MURIYA Group from April 2015 to November 2017, where they conducted compliance and process reviews and established compliance frameworks. From May 2018 to March 2019, they held the position of Chair Woman at MuscatMums, overseeing day-to-day activities, organizing events, and building marketing strategies. Deeksha worked as a Compliance Consultant from January 2019 to June 2020. Deeksha then joined MURIYA again as an Internal Control professional from March 2019 to June 2020. Deeksha also worked as a Student in Operational Risks & Internal Controls Fundamentals at the University of Toronto from September 2021 to November 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Compliance & Legal Officer at RamSoft since August 2020 and has recently transitioned into the role of Director of Compliance & Legal in August 2022.

Deeksha Shukla's educational history is as follows:

In 2023, Deeksha attended the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education to complete a Legal Research and Writing Course.

In 2021, Deeksha received a Certification in Operational Risks & Internal Control Fundamentals from the University of Toronto.

From 2017 to 2018, Deeksha pursued a Certified Internal Auditor degree with a focus on Internal Audit at the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Between 2013 and 2015, Deeksha studied at the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, earning a PGDBA in International and Services Marketing.

From 2007 to 2012, Deeksha pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree specializing in Law at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

In 2005, Deeksha completed high school at Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram.

Deeksha also obtained additional certifications, including being NCA certified by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2023, becoming an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification holder from SAE International in 2021, and earning an ISO 13485:2016 Auditor certification from SAE International in 2020.
