Manuel Velazquez currently serves as the Aquatic & Dance Department Coordinator and Movement Specialist at Rancho La Puerta since December 2009. Prior to this role, Manuel was the Lead Group Wellness Mind & Body Personal Trainer at Golden Door Spa at Las Casitas Village, El Conquistador Resort, Spa & Casino from November 1998 to January 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing the fitness and wellness programming. Manuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic and Latin American Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, attained between 1983 and 1991.
