Tom Birmingham is an experienced photography presenter and business owner with a diverse background in the arts and hospitality sectors. Since June 2008, Tom has served as a photography presenter at Rancho La Puerta, offering workshops focused on family photography and children's arts education. As the owner of Studio One in Big Sur, established in January 1998, Tom provides original artwork, photography, online art workshops, and marketing consultations for artists and nonprofit organizations. Tom co-founded and directed the Big Sur Arts Initiative from October 1998 to June 2006, where responsibilities included grant writing, fundraising, and program implementation for local families. Earlier in Tom's career, management of Nepenthe and Cafe Kevah from January 1987 to June 1998 involved overseeing a team of 80 employees, focusing on hiring, training, and operational planning. Tom attended Monterey Peninsula College.
