Lauren Visconti, MS, is a dedicated Ph.D. student in Human Biology at the University of Southern California, where Lauren also serves as a lecturer in Biological Sciences. Lauren has held various academic positions, including adjunct faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences and a graduate assistant at California State University-Long Beach. In addition to academic roles, Lauren is a Research Scientist II at Leidos and a Wellness Instructor at Rancho Santiago Community College District. Lauren's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Science from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences from Rutgers University. The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) is responsive to the educational needs of its ever-changing community and provides programs and services that reflect academic excellence. Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College are public community colleges of RSCCD, which serve the residents of Anaheim Hills, East Garden Grove, Irvine, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin and Villa Park. Both colleges provide education for academic transfer and careers, courses for personal and professional development, customized training for business and industry, and programs to train nurses, firefighters and law enforcement personnel.
