Shannon Crawford

Shannon Crawford has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2007, they started as an Income Auditor at La Costa Resort and Spa, where they stayed until 2010. In 2012, they worked briefly as a Baker at Towne Bakery and then as a Bakery Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Staff Accountant at both Fillmore Hospitality, LLC and DoubleTree by Hilton. In 2015, they became a Cost Controller at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Assistant Director of Finance at both HEI Hotels & Resorts and Marriott Hotels. Shannon then joined Comic-Con International in 2018, where they held roles as an Accounting Manager and a Hotel & Procurement Analyst. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Assistant Director of Finance at Rancho Valencia.

Shannon Crawford has a diverse education history with a focus on accounting and hospitality management. Shannon obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from MiraCosta College, with a completion year of 2022. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Baking and Pastry from The Art Institute of San Diego California, completing it in 2012. Shannon also earned an Associate of Arts degree in Hospitality Management from MiraCosta College, completing it in 2007.

In addition to their degree programs, Shannon has pursued various certificate programs at MiraCosta College. Shannon completed a Certificate of Proficiency in Accounting Assistant in 2021, a Certificate of Proficiency in Computerized Accounting Applications in 2021, and a Certificate of Achievement in Accounting in 2022.

Furthermore, Shannon has acquired several other certificates in the field of hospitality management. Shannon obtained a Certificate of Competence in Hospitality Management in 2007, a Certificate of Achievement in Front Office Operations in 2006, a Certificate of Achievement in Rooms Division Management in 2006, and a Certificate of Completion in Customer Service in 2003, all from MiraCosta College.
