Veneta Nair

Veneta Nair has over a decade of experience in regulatory risk management and compliance across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Regulatory Risk Programme Manager at Rand Merchant Bank since August 2021, Veneta previously held positions at FirstRand Group focusing on financial crime risk policy and advisory from August 2018 to August 2021, and as Programme Manager for regulatory risk at FirstRand Bank Limited from June 2013 to December 2017. Earlier roles include a managerial position at PwC from March 2011 to May 2013, and positions in compliance and legal advisory at Experian, Absa, and the Department of Water Affairs. Veneta Nair earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 1996 and 2000.
