Tiro Mahlangu (BCom MBA)

Tiro Mahlangu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They started their career as a Project Manager at South African Breweries, where they were responsible for delivering projects within scope, budget, and quality standards. They then worked as a Project Consultant at Ernst & Young before joining Nedbank as a Project Manager, where they managed projects and programs, ensuring goals were accomplished within specified parameters.

Mahlangu then moved to Liberty Life as a Senior Project Manager, leading implementations of financial service platforms and joint ventures. They continued their career at Nedbank as the Head of the Project Office for Nedbank Wealth, providing project management services for IT, business, and compliance projects.

They also held roles as the Head of IT Projects at Barloworld Equipment, Head of IT PMO at Glacier by Sanlam, and Head of PMO at both the Financial Services Conduct Authority and Rand Mutual - RMA.

In 2016, Mahlangu founded ZIBUNGELA HOLDINGS, where they serve as the Founder and Managing Director. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA, Mahlangu brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their various roles.

Tiro Mahlangu has a strong educational background with a focus on business administration and management. Tiro obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2016. Prior to pursuing their MBA, Tiro completed the Middle Management Programme at GIBS in 2010. In 2008, they received certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Tiro's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Information Systems from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed between 1998 and 2000. Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications, including Agile Project Management from PM.Ideas Pty Ltd in June 2017 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in April 2008.
