Matt Mason

Matt Mason has a rich work experience in the technology industry. Matt started their career as an Application Engineer at Stone & Webster, where they worked as a consultant on Knowledge-Based Expert Systems. Matt then joined Prescient Technologies as the Director of Technical Sales, where they managed technical resources and focused on implementing CAD-based products for Fortune 1000 companies.

In 2000, Matt joined PlanetCAD as the Director of Technical Services, initially managing customer support and software quality assurance. Matt eventually took over product management and development during an organizational transition.

In 2002, Matt joined Avatech Solutions and held multiple roles. As the Director of Research & Development, they managed the development organization and performed product management for a range of workstation and web-based products. Matt also took on responsibility for the professional services-based development team. Matt later became the Director of Professional Services, leading over 60 technical resources across various disciplines and offices while increasing billable revenue. Finally, they served as the Director of Software Development Solutions, managing both professional services-based development and packaged product development, overseeing the acquisition of a product by a third party.

Currently, Matt is the Director of Software Development at Rand Technology, where they lead the software development team.

Matt Mason attended the University of Michigan from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a BSE degree in Aerospace Engineering.
