Chief Timing Operator, Director Of Youth Track & Field At Icahn Stadium at Randall's Island Park Alliance

Lauren Primerano has an extensive work history in the sports and recreation field. Lauren began their career at Trenton Thunder Baseball Club as a Sales Associate from 1996 to 1999. Lauren then worked as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Manhattan College from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they served as the Operations Manager at Chelsea Piers. Lauren then became the Fitness Center Operations Manager at Aviator Sports and Events Center from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they were the Assistant Athletic Director - Facilities & Operations at Hunter College from 2007 to 2012. From 2006 to 2015, they served as the Chief Timing Operator at The Armory Foundation. Lauren then joined Randall's Island Park Alliance as the Chief timing operator and Director of Youth Track & Field at Icahn Stadium from 2007 to present. Lauren also held various roles within USA Track & Field, including serving as the USATF New York President from 2011 to 2018. Lauren Primerano currently works at NYC Department of Parks & Recreation as the Park Administrator - Ocean Breeze Park & Athletic Complex. Additionally, they have been appointed as the Interim President for USATF New York starting in November 2023.

Lauren Primerano received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Manhattan College between 1998 and 2003. Prior to that, they attended Notre Dame High School from 1994 to 1998. Currently, they are pursuing a field of study in Parks and Recreation Management at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, starting in 2010. Additionally, they were also involved in the field of Urban Studies/Affairs at Hunter College, starting in 2009.
