For over 50 years, the Randolph Rescue Squad (RRS) has served the Township of Randolph as a non-profit, fully volunteer service.  The Squad’s primary goal is to provide emergency, rescue, and first aid assistance solely within our community.  While RRS covers Randolph in the evenings, overnight, throughout the weekend, and at various standby events in the community, the Township has contracted weekday daytime ambulance emergency care coverage with St. Clare’s EMS in a collaborative effort between St. Clare’s and RRS volunteers, which has mutually benefited residents and volunteers alike.

New Jersey volunteer rescue and first aid organizations, including RRS, are required to operate in accordance with regulations set forth by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDOHSS). These tough rules pertain to approved and certified rigorous training of volunteer members, mandated vehicle inspections, specified health care equipment, and adherence to official record-keeping and reporting guidelines set forth by the NJDOHSS.
