Karl Johnson

Karl Johnson has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry. Karl began their career in 1997 as a Technical Services Team Leader for SEMA Group Ltd. In 2000, they moved to Islington Council as a Service Delivery Team Leader. In 2001, they joined Datacom as a Remote Operations Group Manager and New Zealand Police as a Service Performance Specialist. In 2004, they began working at Brent Council as a Project Manager and ITSM Consultant. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at The Standard as a Service Delivery Manager, Coherence Advisors, LLC as an ITSM Practice Manager and Principal Consultant, and permanent tsb as an IT Service Management Lead and Service Transformation. Since 2018, they have been an Information Security Architect at Random Bit LLC. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for the development and implementation of IT governance, security and privacy standards, risk management frameworks, service delivery, and service transition and planning. Karl has also managed multiple work streams in an Agile environment, successfully delivered enterprise IT Asset Management solutions, and chaired CAB/CCB meetings.

Karl Johnson completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Heath / Risk Management at Massey University. Prior to this, they attended Reseda High School.
