Meghana K Varghese

Meghana K Varghese is a genomic scientist currently participating in the Graduate Programme at Randox since November 2023. In this role, Meghana performs comprehensive genomic workflows including DNA/RNA extraction and preparation of next-generation sequencing libraries, while operating various Illumina platforms to ensure data quality. Prior to this position, Meghana worked as a Clinical Research and Development Scientist within the Graduate Programme at Randox, managing patient sample operations and performing clinical diagnostic testing. Meghana completed a dissertation at CSIR−Central Food Technological Research Institute, focusing on quality control of commercial butter. Meghana holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Queen's University Belfast, a Master's in Microbiology from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, and a Bachelor's in Microbiology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from The Oxford College of Science.
