Aybüke İrem Altun

Andrea Bourke is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and component engineering. Currently serving as an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since March 2020, Andrea has previously held positions at ABB and GE, focusing on research and development for electrification products and electrical distribution solutions. Andrea is a graduate of the General Electric Edison Engineering Development Program, which involved leadership training and diverse product development rotations. Additionally, Andrea has contributed to education as a PLA at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where responsibilities included teaching CNC machine usage and promoting sustainability initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Architectural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
