Murtaza Fatepurwala

Murtaza Fatepurwala is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Rani Therapeutics since January 2023, previously serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a Teaching Assistant at New York University, where Murtaza developed lesson plans and conducted labs for over 100 students in Computer-Aided Design. Murtaza also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Rani Therapeutics and as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where Murtaza designed a bumper energy absorber and utilized generative design tools to reduce weight in assembly components. Additional experience includes roles as an Assistant System Engineer Trainee at Speed Engineering Solutions, conducting studies on manufacturing defects, and as a Research Assistant at Bearys Institute of Technology. Murtaza holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
