Gurpreet Makh

Gurpreet Makh is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in the finance sector. Currently serving as Group Tax Director and Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting at The Rank Group plc since September 2012, Gurpreet was promoted to the current role in January 2020 after previously holding the position of Senior Tax Manager and acting as Interim Head of Tax on two separate occasions. Prior to this, Gurpreet worked as a Corporate Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP from June 2010 to September 2012, and began a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Executive from September 2002 to June 2010. Gurpreet holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1999 and 2002.
