John Ermer

John Ermer, Ph.D., currently serves as a faculty member in the Humanities Department at Ransom Everglades School and as an adjunct professor at Florida International University, where courses taught include the History of Cuba and Modern U.S. John is also a writer for Ermer Editing & Consulting, with published work in various notable publications, and a member of the Board of Advisors for Ballad of America, Inc. John has extensive experience in education, having previously worked as an educational consultant, social studies department chairperson, and AP World History reader for the College Board. John earned a Ph.D. in Atlantic History from Florida International University, focusing on Arab migration to Cuba, and holds a Master's degree in History from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and English from Florida State University.
