Tara Forde is an accomplished Senior Policy Advisor currently with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since April 2022, with a concurrent role as Principal Policy Advisor for Tourism Stewardship & Systems. Tara also serves on the RANZCOG Consumer Working Group Network since October 2021. Previous roles include Senior Advisor at Te Hiringa Hauora/Health Promotion Agency, and Ministerial Adviser for Hon Julie Anne Genter, focusing on press and policy in the realms of Women and Associate Health. Tara's experience extends to positions such as Acting Chief Press Secretary for the Green Party, Political & Media Advisor, and Senior Executive Assistant within Parliamentary Services. Known for initiating significant workplace policies while at the New Zealand Public Service Association, Tara has also contributed to community initiatives as Chairperson for the Motueka Community Garden. An alumnus of Victoria University of Wellington, Tara holds a Master's degree in Public Policy.
