John Brosnan

John Brosnan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. John began their career in 1986 as a Principal Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they worked for ten years. John then moved on to Multistream, where they served as the Director of Software Engineering from 1996 to 2002. In 2003, they joined NetFort as the CEO, overseeing the development of the LANGuardian Network Traffic and Security Monitoring solution. John held this position for sixteen years before joining Rapid7 in 2019 as the Senior Director of Products.

John Brosnan began their education at the University of Limerick in 1982, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronic Engineering. John completed this program in 1986. After several years, they returned to the University of Limerick in 1992 to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Systems, which they completed in 1994.
