Miguel Ledezma

Miguel Ledezma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Miguel currently works at Rapid7 as a Lead Software Engineer, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at DivvyCloud for a brief period in 2020.

Before joining Rapid7, Miguel worked at DATA Inc. from August 2017 to December 2019 as a Software Developer at Bank of America. In this role, they gathered and refined requirements for new initiatives and regulatory reporting issues, implemented and tested software requirements, and maintained and enhanced a Python-based real-time regulatory reporting application.

In 2017, Miguel was an Equity Research Student Analyst at DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. During this time, they reviewed filings and data to develop insights on companies and presented research reports and recommendations to Portfolio Managers.

Miguel also has experience as a Course Online Student Technician at DePaul University from January 2016 to June 2017, and as a Python & VBA Developer at STATCOM DePaul from October 2015 to April 2016.

Starting in 2011, Miguel worked as a Software Engineer at Leyenda Barracuda, where they developed an app to create and distribute product catalogs using VBA and MS SQL, and built an app to synchronize inventory levels across platforms using Python. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Corp ML from 2008 to 2011, specifically at Construcciones y Mantenimientos del Centro.

Miguel Ledezma completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidad José Antonio Páez in 2007. Miguel then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computational Finance from DePaul University, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. Miguel also holds a certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) from Bloomberg LP.
