Mindy Freitas

Mindy Freitas, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mindy worked as a Lead Program Manager, Program Manager, and Senior Project Manager in the information security field at Rapid7 from 2019 to present. Prior to that, they were a Technical Project Manager at Verndale from 2017 to 2019. Mindy also gained experience as an Associate Digital Producer at Hill Holliday from 2015 to 2017, where they oversaw the production of various digital marketing assets. Mindy worked as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Reader's Digest Association in 2014, where they planned and coordinated campaigns. Mindy's early career included roles as a Marketing Coordinator at Anna's Linens in 2013 and Sales and Marketing Support at ALCATEL ONE TOUCH in 2012.

Mindy Freitas, PMP, has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. In 2005 to 2007, Mindy attended San Francisco State University, where they focused on International Relations. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a degree in East Asian Studies with a concentration on regional peace and security and U.S.-Japan relations at the University of California, Davis.

In 2009 to 2010, Mindy also participated in the Keio International Program at Keio University, focusing on East Asian International Relations. Continuing their education, they attended the Harvard Extension School in 2020 to study Cyberspace and International Security.

Most recently, in 2021, Mindy completed their Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Public Policy at Tufts University. Furthermore, they completed the NYU Tandon Bridge to Computer Science program at NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2023.

Mindy also holds relevant certifications. In 2019, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. Additionally, in August 2021, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
