Amit S Phadnis

Amit S Phadnis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Amit S is currently serving as the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer at RapidAI since April 2022.

Before joining RapidAI, Amit worked at GE Healthcare from 2017 to 2023. In their tenure, they held the position of GE Officer, CDO, and Head - Digital Business from August 2018 to January 2023. Prior to that, they served as GE Officer and Chief Technology Officer at the GE Healthcare Imaging division from February 2017 to August 2018.

From 2012 to 2017, Amit held multiple leadership roles at Cisco Systems. Amit S was the SVP Engineering and India Site Leader, responsible for leading Cisco's Core Software Group (CSG) India. Amit S managed a team of 2500+ engineers and drove innovations and product developments in the routing, switching, and wireless areas. Before that, they served as the VP Engineering (Core Software Group) and India Site Lead from September 2014 to April 2016, and as the VP Engineering in the Enterprise Networking Group from October 2012 to September 2014.

Prior to joining Cisco Systems, Amit worked at Symbol Technologies/Motorola India as the CEO/VP of Engineering from March 2004 to May 2007. Amit S also served as the VP of Engineering (Network Software and Systems Technology Group) at Cisco Systems from May 2007 to 2012.

Amit's career started at C-DOT, where they worked as a Program Manager from June 1990 to October 1994. Amit S then joined Tata Elxsi Ltd. as a Corporate Manager, overseeing design and development, from 1994 to 1999. Finally, they joined Cisco Systems as the Director of Engineering from March 1999 to March 2004.
