Nic Dent

Nic Dent has a range of work experience in the field of product and experience design. Nic is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at RapidAI since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at MYER from July 2020 to June 2021. In 2020, they worked briefly as a Senior Experience Designer at R/GA. From 2019 to 2020, Nic Dent took a break to travel the world.

From 2016 to 2019, Nic Dent worked at REA Group, where they served as a Senior Product Designer for different projects. Nic led the product design of the Hometrack Property Data, Ignite by realestate.com.au, and realcommercial.com.au. In 2015, they took another break to travel before joining MYOB as a Product Designer from 2013 to 2015. During their time at MYOB, they led the product design of PayDirect, an online invoicing service, and collaborated with other designers on the Atlas small business website builder.

In 2012, Nic Dent worked as a UX/UI Designer at ME Bank, providing design consulting and developing design guidelines for a new SaaS banking implementation. Nic also has experience as a Front-end Web Developer, working as a contractor for The Group from 2010 to 2011, and as a Front-end Web Developer at STEEL London from 2009 to 2010, where they supported external vendors in creating HTML email campaigns.

Nic Dent attended RMIT University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Systems Design.
