Shweta Puranik

Shweta Puranik has a strong background in software testing and automation. Shweta began their career as an Automation Engineer at IGATE Patni in July 2010 and worked there until September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing requirements and creating test plans.

Following their time at IGATE Patni, Shweta joined Capgemini in October 2013 as a Technical Lead for Automation and Manual Verification and Validation. Shweta held this position until February 2019 and was responsible for planning verification and validation activities for software releases based on developed features.

In March 2019, Shweta joined GE Healthcare as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they created automated tests using SpecFlow and WhiteUI automation framework. Shweta later moved into the position of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from April 2020 to March 2021, where they played a key role in ensuring product quality. From April 2021 to December 2022, Shweta served as a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer, where they created automated and manual test cases for microservice-based Orchestrator applications hosted on Kubernetes.

Most recently, Shweta joined RapidAI in January 2023 as a Senior Test Automation Engineer. Their current responsibilities in this role are unknown as the end date has not been provided. Overall, Shweta has demonstrated a strong expertise in test automation and quality assurance throughout their career.

Shweta Puranik completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Xavier Institute of Engineering between 2006 and 2010. Shweta also obtained the following certifications: Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE) from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in February 2020, ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst from the same institution in August 2016, and ISTQB - Foundation Level in May 2015.
