Zhaojun Nie

Zhaojun Nie is a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at RapidAI since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Neural Analytics as a Data Scientist from an unspecified start date until August 2020. Before joining Neural Analytics, they were a Postdoctoral Scientist at Cedars-Sinai from August 2015 to March 2018, where they focused on data analysis for in vivo brain tumor clinical study. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting researcher at the University of Southern California from October 2014 to April 2015, where they focused on imaging processing, computer vision, and machine learning. They also have experience as a Research Assistant at McMaster University from September 2009 to June 2014 and at Beijing Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009.

Zhaojun Nie completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering (Biophotonics) from McMaster University, where they attended from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Optoelectrical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009. Zhaojun'sundergraduate education was at Xi'an Institute of Post & Telecommunication, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Optical Information and Technology) from 2003 to 2007.
