Mitch Myburgh

Mitch Myburgh is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Front End Software Engineer at RapidDeploy since October 2022, while also providing ongoing support to the finance and customer support departments at Lifeist as a contractor. Previously, Mitch held various leadership roles, including Lead Software Engineer at Spinach Pay, where responsibilities included system architecture for a payments platform, and as CTO at TIMON and hop!, where app development and UI/UX design were primary focuses. Early career experiences include internships at OLX and OLX Group, alongside founding Opus Jobs, a job finding marketplace app. Mitch possesses extensive knowledge in technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, PHP, and Android, complemented by a strong educational background with a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science and a BSc Honours in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
