Rebecca Scharfstein

VP, People at RapidSOS

Rebecca Scharfstein is currently the VP of People at RapidSOS. Prior to that, they worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where they focused on people strategy for digital and tech organizations. Rebecca also spent time as a Strategic Innovation Fellow at the California Department of Justice, where they helped to design a new office focused on performance improvement and innovation. In their role as a Strategic Innovation Fellow, Rebecca conducted interviews for a landscape analysis of innovation in government, presented a proposed operational model for the Office of Performance Improvement and Innovation to senior advisors, and drove alignment on 4 key office priorities. Rebecca also built a website to recruit and attract talent for the office.

Rebecca Scharfstein's educational career includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with distinction from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard Kennedy School, and an A.B. in Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs from Princeton University. Rebecca also has a high school diploma from Brookline High School.

They are on a team with Jonathan Siegel - VP, Information Security, Indranil Chatterjee - CRO, and Nick Horelik - CTO, Co-Founder. Rebecca Scharfstein reports to Michael Martin, CEO, Co-Founder.
