Markku Palipea

Markku Palipea has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Markku is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Rapidworks, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO of NEURISIUM - Bridging Industry, Technology and the Future from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Markku served as a Founding Partner at EMP Capital from July 2015 to August 2022. Markku co-founded Oriental House OÜ in 2006 and held the role of Co-founder and Head of Business Development until August 2022. Markku was also a Co-founder, Business Development & Digital at binauric SE from July 2012 to February 2015. Markku co-founded and served as the Managing Director of EAZZY Media GmbH from November 2011 to June 2012. Furthermore, Markku worked in International Business Development at WOIZZER AG from May 2010 to November 2011. Markku started their professional journey as a Junior Partner and part-time legal consultant at Reval Estate OÜ from June 2007 to July 2009, and had an internship in Data Protection at Deutsche Bank from February 2009 to May 2009.

Markku Palipea began their education at The Regents School in Thailand in 2003, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate degree in various subjects including Business, English (1st language), Geography, German, Physics, and Mathematics until 2005.

Markku then went on to study at the University of Bradford from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's (Hons.) degree in Business Studies and Law.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Markku enrolled in a Master's program at Bucerius Law School and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management from 2008 to 2009. During this period, they specialized in Law and Business, working towards their Master's degree.
