Benjamin LaPlante has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Benjamin began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Sergeant and Non-Commisioned Officer In Charge of Personnel from 1994 to 1998. Following their military service, they worked as a Production Operations Analyst at Compaq Computer Corporation for six months in 1999. Benjamin then joined Teradyne, Inc in 2000, starting as a Buyer/Planner and progressing through various roles such as New Product Planner, Materials Manager, Operations Manager, and ultimately as the Supply Chain Director for Global Services Operations from 2010 to 2015. Since 2015, Benjamin has been with American Science and Engineering, Inc, where they have held positions such as Director of Strategic Supply Chain, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations.
Benjamin LaPlante obtained an MBA degree from Northeastern University - Graduate School of Business Administration from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Legal Studies/Sociology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst between 1990 and 1994. Benjamin has also obtained a certification in CSCP from APICS in January 2007.
