Dan-Cristian Dinca has a comprehensive work experience in the fields of science and research, spanning over two decades. Dan-Cristian began their career as a Research Assistant at the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation in 1998, where they worked until 2000. Dan-Cristian then joined Michigan State University as a Teaching Assistant from 2000 to 2001, followed by a role as a Research Assistant until 2005. In 2005, they joined American Science and Engineering, Inc. as a Staff Scientist, and over the years, they progressed to become a Senior Staff Scientist, Principal Scientist, and ultimately the Director of Science and Image Processing in 2015.

Dan-Cristian Dinca completed their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from the University of Bucharest, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Dan-Cristian then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Nuclear Physics from the University of Bucharest, which they completed from 1997 to 1998. After that, they further advanced their education by obtaining a PhD in Physics from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
