Prior to that, they held several positions at McDonald's, including Director Global Analytics and Global Lead for Digital Customer Data Acquisition, Integration, and Activation. Eric also worked as a Senior Manager for US Digital Channel Optimization. Eric has also worked as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, where they taught courses on Digital Analytics, Optimization, Martech, and A/B Testing & Optimization. Before that, they worked at DeVry University and DeVry Education Group in roles such as Lead for Experience & Optimization and Full Stack CQ/AEM Developer. Eric's early experience includes roles at Devry Inc. as a Quality Assurance Analyst, and at Riverside Publishing as a QA Analyst.
Eric Illingsworth earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology from South University, which they completed in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Eric also holds several certifications, including being Certified in Omni Foundations by Annalect, Google Analytics Certification from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop), and Professional Scrum Product Owner™ II (PSPO II) by Scrum.org. Eric obtained the AST Foundations certification in 2010.
