Kinsey Tyler is an experienced professional in the field of mental health and education, currently serving as a School-Based Therapist at the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board since February 2024. Prior experience includes a Counseling Intern position at Doorways in 2023, an Assistant Teacher role at Merritt Academy from July 2021 to December 2023, and a Research Assistant stint at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where involvement in The NICAS Lab focused on adolescents with substance use disorders. Kinsey also contributed as a Bystander Intervention Trainer at The Johns Hopkins University and conducted research on bat social calls in The BATLab. Kinsey holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from The Johns Hopkins University.
