Danielle Brokenburr, SPHR has extensive experience in human resources, starting with their role as an Administrative Analyst/HR Generalist at DSIC (acquired by CACI 2001) from June 1994 to November 2001. Danielle then worked at CACI in various HR positions, including HR Administrator from November 2001 to October 2006, HR Manager - Employee Services from October 2006 to October 2011, and HR Senior Manager - Employee Services from October 2011 to November 2012. Following this, Danielle joined CACI International Inc as an HR Partner/Employee Relations from November 2012 to August 2017. Danielle then became a Senior HR Business Partner at CACI from October 2013 to August 2017. After their time at CACI, Danielle worked as the Director of Human Resources at Goodwin House Baileys Crossroads from August 2017 to April 2018. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Human Resources at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative starting from April 2018.
Danielle Brokenburr, SPHR holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. In June 2013, they obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Additionally, in June 2021, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
REC is a member-owned utility that provides electric service to nearly 170,000 connections in portions of 22 Virginia counties. The Cooperative was formed in 1980 after the consolidation of two cooperatives, Virginia Electric Cooperative in Bowling Green and Northern Piedmont Electric Cooperative in Culpeper. REC's general office is in Spotsylvania County. REC operates and maintains more than 17,000 miles of power lines through its service area, which ranges from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the tidal waters of the Chesapeake Bay. The Cooperative serves a variety of residential, commercial and industrial accounts. REC provides the electricity for such familiar names as Kings Dominion Amusement Park, Equinix, Inc., Merillat Industries, General Electric, Axalta, Kraft Foods Group, Inc. and Southeastern Container, Inc. The Cooperative is guided by a board of directors, also member-owners of REC, and who are elected by REC's other members during the annual meeting. Directors serve three-year terms.
