Melody Peace

Melody Peace currently serves as the Director of Finance at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, a position held since May 2025. Previously, Melody spent over 16 years at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where roles included Project Evaluation Team Lead, Senior Manager of Regulatory Assurance and Compliance, Senior Manager of Supply Chain - Rotational Development, Manager of Financial Operations & Performance, and Financial Consultant IV. Notable achievements at TVA involved spearheading cost optimization initiatives leading to significant savings, enhancing team cohesiveness, developing strategic staffing plans to reduce turnover, managing over $5 billion in contracts, and mentoring high-performing financial teams while effectively overseeing substantial budgets. Melody holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
