James Tully is an accomplished law enforcement professional with extensive experience in correctional services, emergency management, and training within various roles over more than two decades. Currently serving as Deputy Superintendent at Rappahannock Regional Jail since March 2021, Tully is responsible for advanced protective services, administrative planning, and supervising correctional operations. Previous roles include Domestic Operations Manager for the Virginia Department of Military Affairs, Contractor for VERTICAL JOBS, INC., and Deputy Sheriff at Fairfax County Sheriff's Office, where duties ranged from supervising confinement operations to managing community corrections programs. Tully's military background includes service as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, alongside a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from George Mason University and additional certifications in professional education programs.
