Jose Mortensen

Jose Mortensen has over 25 years of experience in the information technology field. Jose most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at Rappahannock Regional Jail, where they were responsible for program development, technical support, and staff management. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Specialist at Uhaul, troubleshooting and repairing network connectivity issues. Jose also held positions at DynCorp International as an IT and MWR Manager, at BNFL as a Network Administrator, and at ECI Telecom as a Lead Systems Administrator. Additionally, they have experience as a Property Manager at Murga Estates and as a Network Engineer at Pace Global. Jose began their career at Quantum Tech Solutions Inc. as a Field Service Network Technician and later worked as a Senior Technician at Comstor Ltd and Sunnytech. Jose has a diverse background in network administration, systems maintenance, and technical support.

Jose Mortensen completed a certificate in Information Technology from the Computer Learning Center Alexandria in 1990-1991. Prior to that, they attended Woodbridge Senior High School from 1984-1988. Jose has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including MTCRE and MTCNA from Mikrotik in 2015 and 2014 respectively. Jose also obtained a Facilities Support Contracts Safety Hazard Awareness certification from Naval Facilities Engineering Command in May 2010, and a Site Safety certification from Dyncorp in 2009.
