Isaias Culqui Fernandez

Isaias Culqui Fernandez is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Generative AI Team at Rappi since October 2025. Prior to this role, Isaias held positions as an Expert Data Scientist at Prediqt for a short tenure, and as a Senior Data Scientist at Talently, where responsibilities included developing and enhancing a recommendation system that connects job applicants with opportunities. Isaias also has experience in producing analytical solutions for the shrimp farming industry while at Prediqt and worked with Grupo Intercorp and Quantum Talent as a Data Scientist. The early career included an Analytics Intern position at Estrategica and an analyst role at Grupo Pitagoras, where data-driven models for university admissions and student retention were developed. Isaias received educational training from the National University of Engineering and BRITÁNICO - Asociación Cultural Peruano Británica from 2008 to 2010.
