Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer who has worked at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Chris is responsible for developing hardware for interactive whiteboards and flat panels, as well as other educational devices. Chris also worked as a Firmware Engineer developing firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products at SMART Technologies. Prior to that, Chris worked as an Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation and as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom. Chris also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
