Nicolás Pérez Echeverry

Nicolás Pérez Echeverry is the current Controller at Rappi. Nicolás has also previously worked as an Investment Associate at Polymath Ventures, a Private Equity Investment Trainee at Neuberger Berman, and an Associate at HBI Banca de Inversión | Helm Group. Nicolás began their career as a Credit Analyst Intern at Tikehau Investment Management.

Nicolás has a wide range of experience in the financial industry. As an Investment Associate at Polymath Ventures, they were a member of the fundraising and investment team and focused on the financing of ventures to accompany their growth stages. At Neuberger Berman, Nicolás was a trainee in the Private Equity Group where they participated in due diligence of investment opportunities, prepared diligence memoranda and investment recommendations, and assisted in the preparation of external investor reports, advisory board meetings, and fundraising.

In their previous role as an Associate at HBI Banca de Inversión | Helm Group, Nicolás provided analysis and support for the origination, execution and monitoring of leveraged buy-out transactions, growth capital investments and other direct private equity investments. As a Credit Analyst Intern at Tikehau Investment Management, they were responsible for the analysis of potential investments and the preparation of credit memos.

Nicolás’s experience in various areas of the financial industry has given him a well-rounded skillset that they use in their current role as Controller at Rappi.

Nicolás Pérez Echeverry holds a Master 2 in Banking and Corporate Finance from TBS Education and a degree from Universidad de Los Andes.
